Today we release JIRA Client 3.8.3, a patch version for those who log in to JIRA with Google Accounts.

This version comes with support for latest changes on Google Accounts and a number of other improvements and fixes

Embedded web browser improvements

This version comes with the following improvements:

• Support for recent changes on Google Accounts web interface.
• Support for popup authentication dialogs
• Freezing of embedded web browser fixed

Upgrade

The upgrade is recommended for everyone who has a license with active maintenance.

Upgrade is strongly recommended for users who connect to JIRA server via embedded web browser, especially those who log in to JIRA with Google Accounts.

Keep your current version of the JIRA Client server plugin if you are running a JIRA version older than JIRA 6.3.

The JIRA Client desktop application upgrade procedure is as usual:

1. Back up your workspace.
2. Install the new version over the old one.
3. Run JIRA Client and wait until it finishes synchronizing JIRA configuration.
