Half Moon Bay, California - September 19, 2012: ALM Works, a software company focused on tools for software development and application lifecycle management, announced that it will participate in AtlasCamp 2012 that is to be hosted by Atlassian in Half Moon Bay, CA, on September 19—21, 2012.
AtlasCamp is a special event for Atlassian Plugin developers. It has been held annually since 2008, and it's back again for a 5th year now. As usual, AtlasCamp will be a mix of conferencing, meetings, great fun and a relaxed get-together for more than 100 people who are interested in extending Atlassian applications using Atlassian Plugin Framework or APIs.
AtlasCamp is a venue where you have a unique opportunity to meet other add-on developers from the Atlassian Ecosystem, find out the latest news and insights about Atlassian products, hear success stories from the Atlassian Marketplace, learn how to best sell and market your plugins, and get one-on-one help with Atlassian developers. Participants will learn about the evolution of Atlassian plugins — the next generation of the Atlassian plugin framework will be unveiled, with major enhancements focused around working with the OnDemand hosted solution. In addition, new add-on development training courses, written and run by Atlassian engineers, will be offered to beginners to help them know how to build plugins the way the pros do.
"It's a perfect place where we can learn technology news updates and have the best chance to meet Atlassian developers and other fellow plugin developers to share our minds and experiences, and present our ideas and showcase our products in the format of a 5-minute lightning talk," said Igor Sereda, the founder and lead developer at ALM Works. "One of the most prominent advantages of AtlasCamp is that we can run our new ideas by Atlassian and fellow professionals to select the best ideas for the new products."
As in the previous years, ALM Works is going to join AtlasCamp 2012 and take part in different meet-ups and discussions. Among other important aims is building new partnerships and attracting other plugin developers who might be interested in employing the Structure API to integrate Structure Plugin with their software products or custom plugins.
