ALM Works is proud to announce the availability of Deskzilla 1.0, a desktop client for Bugzillaâ„¢ bug tracking system. Deskzilla delivers features for greater productivity and improved working environment for the users of Bugzilla.
Since the beginning of the project, we have looked for unique features that could take advantage of running over local, highly-customized database of bugs and other project issues (as opposed to querying information from a remote web server). With such features as Offline Availability, Bug Counters, Issue Distribution, the current Deskzilla release is a valuable addition to the work environment of any project manager, developer or QA specialist who uses Bugzilla.
Deskzilla 1.0 marks the important milestone in our mission to create a universal platform for managing the infrastructure of a software project. In the nearest future we plan to introduce more desktop-specific features such as Tabbed Browsing and expand the coverage of Bugzilla functionality. We are also experimenting with integration with other web-based trackers.
I would like to express our sincere gratitude to all Deskzilla users who responded with comments, ideas and bug reports. We take each message from you seriously and we instantly weave the feedback into our plans. What Deskzilla is today has pretty much been shaped by you.
ALM Works will continue to provide you with better experience for your issue tracker. Just let us know your needs.
