The Structure 3.0 public beta is one of the last major milestones on the way to the full 3.0 release.
To get yourself a copy, head over to almworks.com/s3, enter your email address halfway down the page, and within a few minutes you'll receive an automated message with download links and installation instructions.
Please pay careful attention to the installation instructions, especially if you already have the 3.0 Private Beta installed!
We'll be updating this section frequently with answers to your favourite questions.
Where are the demonstration videos?
We've recorded a full-length live webinar demonstration of Structure 3.0, with a nice overview of Structure.Pages starting at around the 30-minute mark.
Where can I send my feedback on the public beta?
Please send any actionable feedback (issues, suggestions, support requests, etc.) to s3@almworks.com and one of our team will get right back to you.
We've also set up a discussion group on LinkedIn group for you.
If you'd like to share your impressions with the world, we'd really love a @almworks mention on Twitter!
What's the ETA for the final 3.0 release?
It's close, very close. Let's just say that early spring should be an exciting time.
How can I downgrade from Structure 3.0 back to Structure 2.x?
You can't. At least not without losing your Structure 3.0 data.
Structure 3.0 now stores its data in JIRA, whereas Structure 2.x used its own separate database. As such, Structure 3.0 backups can't be imported into Structure 2.x
Your old Structure 2.x data will be preserved (assuming you had 2.x installed before upgrading to 3.0) but you'll lose any changes you made in 3.0
Is there an online demo?
There sure is. Feel free to play around with it as much as you like.
Where can I find the documentation?
Full documentation will be published with the final 3.0 release.
In the meantime, the Structure 3.0 quick start guide will get you up and running.
