Hello World, and welcome to ALM Works’ awesome new blog. Here I’ll be entertaining you with news, updates and uncensored insights into life at one of the leading JIRA project management plugin vendors.
In case you hadn’t noticed, I’m also new here. In fact, I’m new to JIRA, project management and everything related to it, which should make this blog even more worth reading. Wait, how does that work?
Well, it works like this… To spice things up a little I’ve been set a challenge. If I can get my head round JIRA, Structure and other related stuff in the next three months, I stand a good chance of becoming a permanent fixture here at ALM Works.
In the meantime, this is where I get my temporary fixes.
To make things more exciting, I’ll be documenting my progress through this daunting rite of passage in excruciating detail. By the end of my three-month initiation, I hope to have a massive following of supporters cheering me on. Failing that, at least a couple of encouraging comments in the blog should suffice.
For those of you who are already seasoned JIRA + Structure veterans, I probably won’t be a great source of revelations. More likely I will be a source of amusement when I mess things up, so that alone should be good incentive to stay tuned.
For newer users and the uninitiated, perhaps my efforts will be as inspiring as they are amusing. Only time will tell. Right now I have an important meeting with the coffee machine, but I'll be back soon with some fascinating news.
Let the challenge begin!
