Important: Testopia is not supported on Virtual Bugzilla 3.2+. To run Testopia with VBS, you need to get VBS 2.1 or wait until we release Virtual Testopia server. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Testopia is Mozilla's Bugzilla-based test management system. This version contains Testopia 1.3 Beta 2 on a separate Bugzilla 3.0. To install Testopia add-on, you need to spend a couple of minutes carefully following these steps:

1. Download Testopia add-on

   Download (alt) 25 MB ZIP, md5sum: a1af3e5f9eb8be6535ffa51d87822621

   It is an archive (vbs21-testopia.zip) with a virtual disk.

2. Shut down VBS

   Shut down VBS by clicking inside VMWare window and then pressing Ctrl+Alt+Insert.

   WARNING: It is important that VBS is shut down and not "hibernated", because you are going to change virtual hardware. Make sure there are no *.lck or *.vmss files or sub-directories in the VBS directory.

3. Unpack downloaded file

   Unpack vbs21-testopia.zip in the VBS directory. File vbs21-testopia.vmdk must overwrite existing file with the same name.

4. Start VBS

   Open VBS VM in VMWare Player or Workstation and start it. When VBS finishes loading, you should see freshly installed Testopia URL:
