Today we have released JIRA Client 3.1.3, a patch version that fixes a few problems in the latest version of JIRA Client and adds a couple of improvements.
Several non-critical problems with licensing have been fixed. The users who had previously used JIRA Client Pro edition (version 3.0 or earlier), but then purchased a site license at the Atlassian Marketplace, and then upgraded to version 3.1, could get a licensing error. The workaround was to remove the old JIRA Client license file from the system. This problem is fixed in 3.1.3.
Other notable fixes and improvements include the fix for possibly incorrect handling of queries that contain negation and more efficient JIRA connectivity logic, which saves bandwidth and reduces stress on the JIRA server.
Please see JIRA Client 3.1.3 Issue List for details of issues closed in this release.
If you have JIRA Client 3.1—3.1.2 installed, or if your JIRA version is 5.2 or later, please upgrade your JIRA Client to version 3.1.3. (A valid license with active maintenance subscription is required either on your computer or on JIRA server.)
Otherwise, the upgrade is not necessary.
The upgrade procedure is the usual:
