We're safely home after the 2014 Atlassian Summit, our collective jet lag is wearing off and we're back to our usual daily routine. Here are some highlights from our trip to San Jose:
A major highlight of our presence at this year's Summit (aside from the really cool stand design, lab coats and goggles) was the launch of Pocket Desk, a mobile client for iPhone that helps JIRA Service Desk agents to keep on top of their SLAs.
Our intrepid team stayed a few days after the Summit to go on a road trip round some of our fantastic Californian customers. We came away with a whole load of positive vibes from the wonderful people we met, a greatly improved knowledge of the local freeway network and masses of useful information to act on.
Aside from answering questions and helping our users solve practical challenges, we gained tremendous insight into the different ways that teams of all shapes and sizes use our products every day.
That insight will be put to excellent use in shaping our upcoming developments to make our products work even better for you. Don't forget that you can make feature requests at any time via our UserVoice forum or our public JIRA.
The team and I would like to thank all of you who took time out of your busy schedules to meet with us, share your stories with us, show us round your offices and treat us to ice creams and lunches.
If you'd like to be a part of our next road trip, write to us at info@almworks.com with a few words about how you're using our products and the varieties of free ice cream in your cafeteria.
