Virtual Bugzilla 3.4 (December 17, 2009)

  • Bugzilla upgraded to 3.4.4;
  • New language packs: Bulgarian, Spanish, Chinese (Traditional);
  • jobqueue.pl script installed to enable asynchronous mail processing to speed up Bugzilla;
  • Linux distribution upgraded to Debian 5.0 ("Lenny");
  • Linux kernel upgraded to 2.6.26 (current kernel on Debian Lenny);
  • Apache, MySQL and other system packages upgraded along with the OS;
  • VMWare Tools upgraded.

Virtual Bugzilla 3.2.2 (8 February, 2009)

  • Upgraded Bugzilla to 3.2.2;
  • Pre-installed localization packs for German (Germzilla), French, Japanese and Russian;
  • Virtual Bugzilla comes now with SSL preconfigured;
  • Versioning convention for VBS changed to reflect the version of Bugzilla installed;
  • Testopia is moved to a separate project;
  • Linux distribution changed to Debian Etch;
  • Virtual machine configuration upgraded;
  • LSI SCSI virtual controller is now in use;
  • Virtual disk for user data has now 200GB;
  • Organization of virtual disk space is slightly different.

Virtual Bugzilla Server 2.1 (29 August, 2007)

  • Upgraded Bugzilla to 3.0.1;
  • Upgraded Testopia to 1.3 (over a separate Bugzilla 3.0);
  • Upgraded system packages;
  • Fixed problem with JSON package in Testopia (#527);
  • Installed VMWare Tools in the VM.

Virtual Bugzilla Server 2.0 (3 April, 2007)

  • Bugzilla upgraded to version 3.0rc1 (release candidate);
  • It's now possible to easily install Testopia add-on;
  • Virtual Machine is completely rebuilt from scratch;
  • Linux distribution changed to grml (kernel 2.6);
  • Apache upgraded to version 2.2;
  • MySQL upgraded to version 5.0;
  • apt/dpkg reinstated;
  • Virtual hard drives are now SCSI;
  • Default virtual drive with user data has now 10GB capacity, similar drives for 1GB and 100GB available.
  • Default mail configuration is now "internet" (exim4, the mail agent, will try to send e-mails directly to the recipient's mail server);
  • Apache web server may now be configured with SSL support;
  • Bugzilla periodic scripts (whining and statistics) are configured by default.
