We're glad to release a second Alpha version of the upcoming JIRA Client 3.2. This version is already close to be called a release candidate and we use it ourselves every day.
Based on the previous version 3.2 alpha 1, this version fixes a number of important issues and adds the following functionality:
Additionally, JIRA Client is now able to connect to jira.atlassian.com again. The compatibility was broken earlier when Atlassian introduced single sign-on with Atlassian ID and JIRA Client could only connect anonymously.
Version 3.2 Alpha 2 is still a preview. We expect a few bugs to be found yet.
To get the Alpha version, please use JIRA Client Download Archive.
We advise to install Alpha version into a different (not standard) directory, so it does not overwrite the stable version of JIRA Client, which you might need.
Alpha version uses a different default workspace location (.JIRAClient.Alpha sub-directory in the home directory), so when you start it for the first time, you'll see an empty workspace.
This version of JIRA Client is supplied with a free 90-days license, which will expire on November 11th, 2013. Please upgrade to a newer Alpha or to a stable version before the expiration date.
Thanks a lot to everyone who's sent use feedback about Alpha 1! If you happen to have any problem or question, please let us know.
