We are releasing today a patch to JIRA Client 3.1, which fixes several issues that came up after recent release of JIRA Client 3.1.

The problems fixed in this release concern Atlassian Marketplace license handling and search functionality. In addition, the connectivity module has been improved to detect the correct scheme (HTTP or HTTPS) when browsers are redirected from the incorrect scheme to the correct one.

Upgrading JIRA Client

If you have JIRA Client 3.1 installed, or if your JIRA version is 5.2 or later, please upgrade to JIRA Client 3.1.2. (A valid license with active maintenance subscription is required either on your computer or on JIRA server.)

Otherwise, the upgrade is not recommended.

The upgrade procedure is the same as with the previous versions:

1. Back up your workspace.
2. Install the new version over the old one.
3. Run JIRA Client and wait until it finishes synchronizing JIRA configuration.
