ALM Works

Today we are releasing a beta version of JIRA Client 1.2. There are still some things left to be done before the final 1.2 release, but all major improvements that we have been planning for this release are ready.

Major improvements are: limited sub-task support, issue-level security, backlog management for Scrum practitioners and upgrade to collections, which are now known as "tags". More about this in the release notes for the final version. Meanwhile, you are welcome to explore these and other improvements in the beta version, currently available for download.

• #648 JIRA Client fails to detect custom field which has an option with a leading or trailing whitespace.
• A few problems and minor improvements.

Please backup your workspace before upgrading, because the new version will make irreversible changes to the local database to migrate from old Collections to new Tags.

As with any beta, your feedback is very important. Please let us know how this version works for you, and any comments or suggestions regarding new features are extremely welcome.
