Another exciting year has flown past at incredible speed. I'd like to thank everybody - customers, partners, friends and colleagues - for being with us throughout 2014 and helping to make it astoundingly good.
It's also the first full calendar year I've spent at ALM Works, and it's been great. Here's a small selection of memorable moments:
Early in 2014 we released Testy as a free extension for Structure. Since then it's found a place in the hearts of a good number of QA teams, especially those engaged in manual agile testing.
Hooray for fast and simple manual testing!
Our QA lead Julia Atlygina has given some excellent presentations and online demonstrations of Testy. Here's a short presentation I hacked together from one of her webcasts:
You're always welcome to head over to our public Structure demo and play with Testy there. At Summit 2014 we launched Pocket Desk, an app that helps mobile JIRA Service Desk agents stay on top of their SLAs while they're out in the field. Pocket Desk was among just four Service desk add-ons that were given an honourable mention in the Service Desk keynote session at the Summit.
Pocket Desk, yay!
There was a distinct prevalence of German events in our calendar, with Atlassian's Atlas Camp in Berlin, catWorkX's Midsummer Day in Hamburg and Seibert Media's Tools4AgileTeams in Wiesbaden.
Fun nights out had nothing to do with our trip to Berlin
That wraps it up for 2014, pretty soon we'll be downing tools and heading home to see in the New Year with our families and pets.
I'll be back early in 2015 to keep you posted on everything that happens in the ALM Works office. Until then, I leave you with this:
